I want to create a WP blog with good theme

    hie friends

    I want to create good Technology based Wordpress blog. And i'm interested to create a good technical theme. I have knowledge in PHP but have no idea regarding JOOMLA. Is my knowledge is sufficient to create a nice theme or do i have to learn joomla.I'm in a bit confusion, can you please help me friends.:)

    You say in the title of your post you want to create a WP blog theme, so you want to create a WordPress theme, or Joomla?

    No need to reinvent the wheel. Find sites similar to what you want. Then view the source code. See what they are using. Find the template. Contact the designer and ask them the cost of making the changes you want then move on.

    I use both Joomla and WordPress. The power of joomla is the ability to manipulate post ordering. But the commenting is weak and I find it more work to update a blog style site with Joomla.

    The power of WordPress over Joomla is the ease of maintenance, the plugins and the excellent commenting.

    It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
