I want to conquer the last frontier: Clickbank

Hi everyone. Don't want to seem arrogant. But Clickbank has always presented me problems. With CJ and google adsense i make solid money. And other affiliate programs.

However with clickbank, it has never clicked. I have used adwords, for surveys, english and spanish lessons for CJ, and nothing works.

Im wondering. Do you guys make a lot through clickbank with free traffic or adwords? and how do you go about promoting it? i mean often theirs nothing but a hoplink provided by advertizers.

Also with the question of opening my own clickbank product to sell, how should i go about this. Who should i approach for the product?

    Thanks

If your so successful with the other networks then just apply those principles to clickbank, there is no difference...

Much of ClickBank is "direct marketing", rather than tangible goods like CJ (or just simply CTR based on placement and traffic with Adsense).

The successful CB affiliates (in most of the categories) are skilled at writing believable reviews and interacting with their newsletter.

Copy writing is a key element to doing well with CB.

CJ & Adsense are more or less about traffic brokering.

Buy a "make money online" ebook. There are lots of them on clickbank who tell you how people made millions from clickbank. Just get a few good ones..

I've had the same experience. But I believe something said here is key. Many CB products are emotional purchases. Copy is critical. It has to be real, fresh and say something convincing.

I'm curious to know how well you're doing with this strategy.

If the others go so well, why bother with cb? Stick with what you do well and live the good life!

When you say "Also with the question of opening my own clickbank product to sell" do you mean that all the previous part of your post related to being an affiliate? Or that it was all about being a vendor and this was just an additional question about that?

I'm trying to work out whether you're asking "vendor questions" or "affiliate questions", because I don't know how to answer you without knowing that (although others apparently didn't have this problem - looks like some of them guessed one way and some the other way!).

Edited to add: oops - I just noticed that this thread, although added to a bit today, is a year old!

I can hear it now ... preferably in the voice of William Shatner or Patrick Stewart: "Clickbank - the Final Frontier ..." :D

If you can find a program that genuinely helps people and doesn't come with all the usual crap, just setup a keyword-rich blog around that product and create several articles covering most of the major keywords/key phrases. Make sure it's not too competitive and build your links to see some Google traffic and sooner or later you should see some results. Cos it's an informational mini-site you're creating just buy a cheap (.info) domain from GoDaddy (1$) and get free hosting with Blogger. That means cheap as chips and you could always add Adsense to it and flip it later on!:D
