That is one big competitor. Site has a pretty good layout and the webmaster had done a good job at on-page SEO...not to mention the links directing to it. It also leverages on its affiliate program.

If you are fairly new, I suggest targeting other keywords (long-tail keywords) first. You don't want to compete head-on with that site...you'll just waste a lot of time/ money.

Try to rank on long-tail keywords first. Make a subpage on each long-tail keywords with each page linking to your home page with the keyword "computer support" and build backlinks only to your subpages first (with the proper anchor text).

    Good luck!

I agree with riczsabido. The only way to beat that site is to have a higher pr and more quality backlinks than them. They currently have 20,983 backlinks so if you have say 10,000 backlinks than google will say that in a popularity contest the other site is more popular than yours and rank it's keywords higher. You should rank keywords in a specific region or state first and as you get more popular expand your coverage area. For example start with computer support in Virgina Beach Virgina, then move to computer support in virgina, then to the southeast, then east coast, then the us, then worldwide. Does that make any sense. I hope that helps.

You literally have zero chance of competing with these guys for about the next year. Try long tail for a while, get some local results around your office locations from Google maps and try other sources of traffic - perhaps Adwords for a while.

You need to make sure your website is optimised for the Spiders, include a blog and post on it daily - and submit the feed to Google News Sitemaps.
Index the Site Sitemaps and submit them to Google Webmaster Tools

Start with frequent Forum commenting and include signature links, and try article marketing - I'd suggest submitting no less than 3 per week with optimised keywords in the resource box.

Do lengthy keyword research and decide what realisetic targets are - Google has a Keyword tool, but there are alternatives out there.

Google Algorithms check for spam, domain age and domain authority - so you may need to wait it out a little to show you deserve to be at number 1. Try getting some authority links from seed sites and education websites - (Seed sites = news sites, Social Bookmarking sites etc)

All in all, SEO is an easy game ;) You just have to play it right and be persistant!
