I want to change email

Hello, I see that people become pink in color and cannot post or do anything if they change their email, I actually want to change my email because the email id in this account is inactive. Can I change it without going pink ?

As far as I know, you only go pink if you haven't clicked the verification link in the email that will be sent to your new, active email address.

 

Yes clookid is right, after you change your profile e-mail address you will be sent a new verification link to your new e-mail.

 

just change it than dont activate till u wanta get back on

 

No, I don't think so, Sometimes even after clicking the link we become pink, waiting for a mods response.

 

It has been stated before by mods to not change the email here because it messes up and freezes your account.

Thanks but I would probably be stuck up as the email which is added here is dead email, if my dp account also gets hijacked, there is nothing we can do

 

email id change can be acceptable by shawn ( as seen in threads)

so u may be in pink until he accepts the change

 

Or as the mod stated in the post I linked, you could end up in mderation hell and not be able to access your account for a long time, if at all.
