    It is just as hard to keep a PR sustained as it is to get it in the first place, therefore you need the experience of getting a PR in the first place in order to sustain your PR. Link building is a great learning experience and can actually be fun if you treat it as a game. It is also good to work hard at something and see the results and the consequences of these results which to me is more $$.

    Sure. Dopedomain.com is a good site to know dropping @ expiring domains.
    They are categorized according to PR.
    Get the valid PR one's.
    Usually then you'll be directed to buy the domains at other places like TDNAME.

    Dopedomain - I could not see anywhere with a list?

    I wouldn't suggest you to buy already used domain name. It has its own history that may conflict with your purpose. Check it on archive.org before make the purchase. Otherwise you can go to deleteddomains.com
