Escrow.com is the best for both parties.

i guess paypal's the most common one - so most people deal with it...

it's like the us dollar - most people quote it when dealing over the internet...

Most people use Paypal because they are so relaxed and don't want to spend 5 minutes to create another account with a different service like 2Checkout, Moneybookers, Stormpay, Ikobo, etc. They would get so much more money from other countries that cannot use Paypal, but it's their business. It's more tragic for people who want to receive payment in one of the many countries still not supported by Paypal.

AFAIK, you can send money by Paypal even if you don't have an account, you'll need just a credit-card.

I was looking at ikobo yesterday and I think it is very nice service, specialy if you do not have paypal.
And there is always bank transfer but I think that fees are higher.

How to send to paypal via a credit card? Remember that paypal also restricts credit card processing to the countries unlisted in signup page. Or via 3rd-party?

Just avoid Stormpay, they are first class scamers.

I've just used escrow.com to buy a site. It takes around 3-5 days to complete the whole transfer process. I think it's the best for both parties.
