    I think you should describe your question in your thread too.

    To build back links you can do manual directory submission, article submission, social bookmarking, press release submission, forums posting, blog posting etc.

    I think he means, he wants to know how to build backlinks to increase his site's alexa rank, guys he might not be good in English so be nicer :D.

    To do this just build backlinks from good PR rated sites and you'll eventually get noticed. Directories are good too :D.
