I'm going to set up 100 wordpress blogs, with various types of content (health/wellness, celebrity, online advertising) and will journal my progress here online.

Before I get started I would like to ask some experts some advise:

    • How do I get my blogs on seperate IPs>
    • Do you suggest having all my blogs on one user name?
    • How long do you think it will take to set all this up?

    Thanks for all the help!

    Try using Wordpress MU.
No they don't all need to be on separate IP's but I would suggest spreading them out amongst a few.

How long ? Depends on how fast you can work and how well you know WP.

My advice...you don't need 100 blogs to make money, just one good one. Starting 100 blogs in saturated niches may be more work than it's worth unless you have some kind of support system in place and people to write original content.

Autoblogging 100 blogs is just setting up more spam blogs in already saturated niches, your SEO will have to be spectacular to get them to rank.

It really depends on what you want to do with 100 blogs.

SEO support network? All link back to your money site?

Wow, it takes me one and half month to get 100 blog in place.

    1. Hosting Accounts, you need IP variation for sure. Go with unlimited shared hosting, You can check my site wordpresshostings dot com and save your time to screen and shop around.

    2. Share 1 MySQL database per hosting account, easy for management and backup/restore

    3. Prepare all the themes and plugins in zip files and upload them to your hosting account, extract them to theme and plugin folder once you get wordpress deployed using File Manager in cPanel

    4. To deploy a new site, just copy everything from an existing site using File Manager to the new folder, then change the wp-config.php, only change prefix, that is it. Fast deployment!!!

It will take you a while to know what the best way to deploy that many sites.

    Good luck.

P.S. That is not a one man job, really.

yeah I would have to say that 90% of these blogs will be set up for SEO support...the rest will be heavy with useful, media-rich, and non-spammy content built to generate some serious ad revenue.

    - you can use SEO Hosting (Class C IP web hosting).
    - user name is not important. you will use admin.
    - if you want to use free themes, i can build 100 blogs in 2 days for you(themes, seo plugins).
