I Want to block some sites in my office..

    Hi,
    I m a system admin in my company, and need to block some website like gmail and yahoo...

    And we dont have any server we have only terminals so how can i do that....

    You surely have a router if you have more than on PC connected.

    While I can not tell you the exact steps I know you can block addresses in the router. The steps probably vary slightly by router brand anyway.

    If you have windows OS, you can block the site using hosts file. The file is in /windows/system32/drivers/etc. Open hosts file and add following at the end:

    0.0.0.0     gmail.com

    However, the best way to block the site is from router.
