I have a domain name de activated by yahoo for some reason. I have tried contacting them but they have not replied since last one month. I have written ten emails and called them up 4 times. But never got a reply. My site is a straight forward simple site with nothing but my poems on it. :(
I want my domain name back. Its going to expire soon. Now that yahoo has deactivated my site, I cannot enter the domain control panel. So I want to

    1. Transfer it to some where else. But I have nothing. No code to make the transfer possible. IS ther any other way this is possible?

    2. Other option is to let yahoo operate my domain as I had my CC number with yahoo and they have auto payment option. So i can just wish they deduct the charges again and keep my site alive.

    3. Third option is to backorder my domain name. I tried godaddy but I have read that its not that reliable. Can i trust godaddy or anyother backorder domain name service?

    Please help me out.

I suggest you do a whois on the domain name. If you show as the admin contact, I would go to someplace like godaddy and initiate a transfer. This will cost you a 1 year renewal fee. That may be refundable if it fails.

Domains do not really drop for rereg until about 70-85 days after expire. You may have some time to wait.
