I want to ask about my infraction

I just started a new thread which gives away free eBooks. As stickied on the Freebies section, freebies must not require registration - should be 100% free.

However, my give away does requires registration so I decided to put it under the main Buy/Sell/Trade section. I even stated in the thread that I can't post it to Freebies bec. it requires registration. But I just recieved an infraction for putting it in Buy/Sell/Trade. Do I deserve to received that infraction?
