I hate my job. And i really don't want to do it much longer. In fact im going to be searching for jobs for the next four weeks. I want my webmaster career to really take off. I suppose some things you could be thinking about are more sites, perhaps a real site with real services or products and of course real world marketing. It's not really special advice, but then again there are no unrational answers that will get you in a position you want to be in. They all require work, whether it's work you like or work you hate..still has to be done.
Do something that you like and have an interest in. Do not do something because others make money from it, not in the beginning at least.
Write a blog about something you like the most. add some google adsense ads to it. list it in some directories make money from nothing. Thats what I do and I sit at home all day..
Hi, I've listed 12, hope that's ok. 1) Forget get rich quick ebooks being sold here on DP for $7 2) Pick a niche you love, for me cricket or football. 3) Dedicate a whole day keyword research/ looking for affiliate products and checking this against demand, in other words, niche hunting! 4) Install Wordpress with a modern theme. 5) Do a search for "Wordpress plugins for SEO". 5) Make clean looking website, do not blog, but make professional looking, proper English grammar (no spelling mistakes!) pages with a blog sub-section. 6) Include: privacy policy, terms, contact us pages for good quality score with google. 7) Create at least a page a day and submit these pages to Digg etc. 8) Check out competition and see how you can beat what they are doing. 9) Once your site is complete (product pages at least) then gain one way links, NO link exchanges. 10) Start a blog section or "news" section. 11) Build links slowly over 2-3 months then get many more after that, don't stop! 12) Repeat with another niche but take what mistakes you made out of your first effort (we all make mistakes), write them down and make your second website even better.
