I want learn Search Engine Optimization

    I have a very little bit knowledge on SEO but want learn more in a short period. Can you teach me how can I optimized my site for search engine. I want to know the basic of SEO.

    Do a search on google there are many an articles avaliable, actually 100 of articles with 100s of tricks, who knows what is best, do the basics right, good quality content, meta tags (keyword & description) and quality backlinks

    Thanks for the reply. I have tried to get the info from google but puzzled for the lots of info. I have no idea which one is good and which one is bad. Among of them it is tuff for me to findout the basic one.

    I have learnt from a site that site's name, title, meta tags and contents are the basic things. Backlinks also a countable issue.

    start with keyword optimization

    than continue with on page optimization
    (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=445864)

    than learn and create back links and inbound links if you can to increase your traffic and create more targeted traffic.

    For more techniques - you can read through the forum - you will find very good posts on this subject.

    There is a lot of information out there and too much of a good thing can be very confusing.
    I suggest you read a real book:
    Search Engine Marketing, Inc.
    by Mike Moran and Bill Hunt
