    hi

i am facing a problem and i hope i will get proper solution here...

I buy expired domains from godaddy auctions and sell those domains to different buyers.

My problem is that when someone buys domain from me and i transfer that domain to the buyers account, after transferring the domain, that domain is removed from my account to the buyers account.

But still after this transaction, the registrant details in "WHOIS" section is showing my name, address and contact information. After this transaction the buyer name must get displayed in "WHOIS" section.

I contacted some buyers, they told their name is mentioned in their account for that particular domain...

So what should i do for this??? How can i change the information on "WHOIS" I have the option to update information in the WHOIS section but how will i get details about the buyer?? IF this is the procedure then i will have to do it everytime i sell a domain..

Kindly tell me what can be done for this??

    thanks

They have to correct the who-is information in there own account. It's not really a big deal.

may be you have choosen not changing contacts while pushing domain by mistake so buyer only can change the whois. just inform him abt this to rectify

Ask the guy you sold your domain to contact the registrat to change the details. Then it'll be OK.Don' worry.

Try to see the whois info directly at registrar whois system. If you may see here the updated info, it means that the issue may be due to cache of other whois systems, and the domain info should be displayed correctly after 2-3 days in all whois sites.
