i using google key tool https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__o=cues&ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS&__u=2028107867&__c=7819752707#search.none but i can't understand what meant by the column called " competition " is it the competition between the publisher to be the at google search page through this keyword ??? or it is the competition between the advertisers to advertise on this word ??? i wish to get some explanation plz.......
Competition in Adword Keyword Tool refers to the competition for buying ad space. It is meant to give you an idea of how many other people you will be bidding against to get your hands on a limited number of ad spots. It doesn't have anything to do with the number of sites for that keyword that have adsense running.
Competition in Google Adwords gives you a rough idea of the number of advertisers targetting a specific keyword. If the bar is filled up in green, it means there are a lot of advertisers bidding for that keyword and the price of the bid goes up higher and higher. To see the actual prices people are paying for a keyword, you can look at the CPC (cost-per-click) column.
