Valuable traffic is, warm traffic. focus more on adding value, on forums related to your niche, and people will naturally want to check out your stuff (you have your site-url in your signature).
How cheap? below a $100 dollars cheap...you going to get dirt traffic that will waste your time. If you got a squeeze page I suggest getting some solo ads. They can range from$20 to $400 and up
If you have adsense on your site, and trying for some cheap traffic, that will be pretty bad for you! As cheap traffic providers will send bots which will cause you to get banned in adsense. But if you do not have adsense, then you can try for sure
How about fb ads ? since it much more cheaper than Google Ads. Google Ads usually expensive while you target wide keywords and mostly is high search keywords. You even need to bid more in order to appear your ads in the 1st page. That is why i think of long run, i may spend the money on SEO services rather than depend google adwords from long term.
About fb-ads, I've heard it not being advocated because facebook is distracting. When people are on there, they're constantly being dragged in different directions (for how long will your stuff be the most shining things?). Also, YOU might be distracted; and not as distracted.
Anyone who HAS money, but want to spend as little, for ads, can buy google adwords vouches cheaper than normal (around 10% of regular price). I don't know if I'm allowed to mention the url, here, but google it.

Get free blogs and Advertisment websites to promote your website, it's will help but not so good. And if you want to do it good,sure you need to spend money on it. that's what i have in mind.
