I waited to post here until I read a bit more about the site.

Hello everyone,
I have been in information overload-land for the past week or so and haven't been able to post here b/c I wanted to be sure that I ready the majority of the rules and understanding what Digitalpoint was/is all about.
That said, Hi - I am Mindsleight (not sure if I should post my real name yet - haven't found a particular rule or guideline on that {I don't think I have, man there is a lot of stuff I am trying to cram into my brain}) from North Carolina. Well that is the really short version. I used to do a "myentirehistoryinonefullbreath" intro to people I met, but haven't done that in a couple of years and don't know how well that would translate to text (the idea was to compress many years of information about where I was from in a single breath - which may sound odd, but that's the point since I consider my entire history up to the point of actually leaving home {to join the Navy} as where I am from).
Some of the things I am into: Movies (massive amounts & I don't care what critics say - I watch for myself), TVshows (Dexter, Stargate SG-1, Sliders, Jekyll, Heroes, The Guild, Californication, & others), Books (a variety of fiction, non-fiction esp knowledge {i.e. my college text books, interesting subjects that catch my eye, etc.}, and a couple of biographies), Music (Birdy Nam Nam, Bach, Eminem, Offspring, Enya, Johnny Cash, FatBoySlim, plus many others)
I have much more to say, but I don't want to bore anyone out of their minds just yet. For now though I will say that based on the guideline posts that I've read here and the responses to them and the holy-crap-load-of-awesome-information that is on here I think I am going to love this forum.
