This is a little mini-rant. I see such posts everywhere. "I used to make $30K a month, but ..." "It's easy to make $40K a month, I was doing it, but ..." The hell you have . If you were making that amount atm, you'd be making it, not sitting on DP bragging about it. Have you noticed that the ones who are making large sums of money don't sit on DP bragging about it. We don't even know of most who live on AdSense This is a hundred-year-old arguement. There's no reason to brag on DP. Noone will believe you if you do, and it'll work against you, in most cases. /rant =)

My brother and his wife both together make 170,000 per year. They act contrary to what you mention. You would get the impression that they may be destitute of money. They shop for sales item and always complaining about high prices. They brought them a huge brand new home and they haven't even brought curtains or new funiture for it. They have lived in it was over 5 yrs.
Well, how long have they been making this money? I mean, even after my first million, which will happen =) I'll still be looking at sales, and trying to save as much money as I can. There's nothing wrong with that. If they don't think they need curtains, than they dont
