I have a merchant account that uses linkpoint and I am having a hard time figuring out how to accept payments on my website. I use JVManager 1 and it asks for my store name and location of digital certificate any suggestions would be helpfull Thanks
Well, do you want people to stay on your site and put in their credit card information, or be transferred to another site where they can securely put in payment information? Linkpoint connect, allows you to put a form on your site, customer fills out, when they hit submit, they are taken to another site, linkpointconnect.com (something like that) where they can verify their information and make the payment. After they are approved, they go back to your site. The other way, the linkpoint api, you will have a form on your site, they fill out their credit card information, and then it securely connects to their site, approves the charges and then sends a response to your form (on your site) telling you their charges went through. They don't leave your site this way. I'm in the process of integrating linkpoint with a customer's site. I'm having a bit of trouble with it, but will eventually (soon I hope) have it figured out. Overall, I'm happy with linkpoint though, they are there when I need support, and it does what we need it to.
