    Hi

I have twitter with only 200 followers, so how is it that when I tweet a link I can see it gets clicks almost immediately? e.g. 2-3 within 1-2 seconds... they can't be real people. Real people couldn't have seen it/responded in time.

So, what is going on that is making my bit.ly show that there were clicks so fast?

It must be some kind of bot doing the click, maybe someone else here has had similar experience?

It could be real people, unless you notice it is the same profiles always clicking on your links.

Your reply hints that it can be possible to tell who has clicked. I didn't know that was possible.

As for the other posters here: yes, it must be bots. I thought it must be bots but then I am at a loss as to why bots would bother to click on links at all. What would be the gain/benefit of that to anybody?
