i sent 150 targeted users to my website sadly none of them converted. did any one tried facebook ads and got success ? Please share your views.
I've had success in the past, but haven't gotten back to it. You have to really focus your traffic, and get the bid down as low as you possibly can without stopping your ad.
I've never tried it but never really thought it would yield many conversions. Although a lot of people use Facebook, I don't find it targeted enough, somebody tell me if I'm wrong!
Ive always been scared away from facebook ads. Maybe because im a chronic facebooker and find the ads annoying and I be a webmaster know there ads so I don't click on them.
I targeted for specific group of people . I kept the price of guide in the ad. but failed. any tips for new campaign ?
I tried fb ads and got burnt! I found that no matter how hard you try to target your customers you will not be able to, They are on a par with adwords content network. You will get tonnes of clicks (which cost more than adwords) but very little or no sales. This is just my opinion though, and if anyone has had success with them then I would love to know how you made it work.
Audience on Facebook is not the same as people searching for keywords in Google... It's not just about getting traffic, because no one will buy. For Facebook, probably the best thing would be some CPA offers....Like "fill out this form to get a FREE iPod".
Yeah freebies from CPA should work. But facebook ads are not easy to master, I never tried them and I belive never will
My attempt at Facebook ads was a bust Here's a post I did on it, if anyone is interested: http://www.learntoearn101.net/2008/07/facebook-advertising-experiment.html
hmmm, i'm sure people have been saying that facebook ads are cheaper than adwords? i have no personal experience of this ... but yeah, interesting ... any comments?
You have to be very specific in your targetting for it to work. For instance, if you're trying to sell a product (not cpa) you'd target your ads towards people on facebook that are 19 or over. Most kids do not have access to credit-cards, so it's useless to send ads to them, unless it's a freebie cpa ad. I've sold many xbox guides on there. You just target males over 19 w/ xbox 360 in their profile. It also pays to do a ton of split testing. For example split your targetted audience up into age groups, gender groups, interest groups, etc. Eventually you'll find the right combination and hit pay gold.
I've tried Facebook Ads a few times with no positive results. They are also quite annoying as far as what they allow ads for.
Depending on season it is possible to make conversion for example promoting those abs/loose weight during new years as everyone wanting to loose weight, I am not for sure if you target by relationship status but if its complicated status you can always promote break up with boyfriend get back etc. books
I got a $50 coupon for FB but because I don't live in one of the regions permitted but their ads network I can't use the coupon. Do you guys think I can sell it?
