    Guys,

I have taken my first domain from godaddy. I am confused now about the hosting. They are charge a huge amount for 1 year.

How will I host my this domain???

there is any free hosting facility available?? Go daddy allows free hosting but I don't want appear their ad in the top.

Can I host with wordpress or Blogger????

    Your advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks

First please let us know the domain name you have purchased.Only then people can advise you what can be done with it.

Hosting at godaddy is insane. You can get cheap and reliable hosting from Dp Forum's web hosting section...

Since your domain is new with probably no well established content or traffic, there is no need for you to use a paid host especially with the price of GoDaddy. Use a free host that allows you to have a domain name. There should be plenty that offer the features you need for now.

You can buy hosting almost anywhere for as little as $5/month. Just search and read customer reviews on the host. :)

Since your just starting out you could try a free web host like 110mb.com. If you looking for paid hosting there are better options out there then godaddy.

GoDaddy is best in domains, but not the same in hosting, use netfirms, ipower, or iweb to hosting.

I agree please do a search dont get roped in with all of the Go Daddy ads, I mean they give you 10,000 options to add more crap on when you just want a domain. If you do decide to go with them read every thign and becareful what you check and uncheck they try to push so much on you. There are cheap alternatives out there as the above posters have said. Good luck its not as complicated once you get going. Enjoy.
