I found this site - http://www.techguy.org - as a coop backlink to me. But the only coop ads on this frum site are on the archive, and not on the main pages..............
Not exactly -- His forums are here: http://forums.techguy.org His archive is here: http://forums.techguy.org/archive/index.php Same subdomain. Just a sub directory - I thought that didnt matter???
I think you just need to have the ads running in the directory you enter in your control panel. This forum (DP) only runs the ads in it's archives so I assume it's ok.
You can run ads in only one subdirectory and with the weight cap in place a large site just running ads on the archives pages can make out well.
You don't need them on all your pages....Coop only searches for a few random pages....it's best to put them on the majority of pages though.
Well, I have a question then...I set the COOP up for my main directory, but sometimes it will not validate because it is searching into my sub-directories as well (like other sites I am hosting off of my server)....why is this? Thanks.....
I thought you ahd to have ads on all pages... Yuo have, but only within the base-url. rheodorow, it will look for ads on any of the pages that Google has in its index. Check for yourself with the site:your-base-url.com command. Ads need to be on each and every one of those.
