After running a psp website for the past year and getting rubbish results (ie 20-30 clicks a day and only $1.0) I thought I was just really bad at placing ads etc, and just being unlucky. But having just opened a graphics design forum I am now getting more along the lines of 60,70 and even 90 cents per click. I if I can get the number of click on my graphics forum to be the same as my psp forum I figured it out to be around $15-20 a day! Just thought I would share this info, that your niche really does matter! Although most of you probably knew that and found this post a waste of time
