I tried, but I can't see anything beyond your front page.
Non of the content comes up in Firefox 3.6.3

I think the only way to market my site is with an inexpensive advertising campaign.

    I rephrased it for ya.

And, yes, that is, basically, the only way to get the word out to where you will get a lot of traffic in no time.

Others who say different are clueless noobs. They have a dead site, just like yours.

    Don't lose hope yet.

It's a process mate. Like what Perry Rose said, don't lose hope. Start the things you need to do.
Research and look for all the techniques to market your services.

Start small and build from there, a little bit of SEO, a bit of classified ads posting, a bit of social network marketing, see what works and what doesn't. Depends on amount of time you have, if you got tons of time, market it yourself, otherwise outsource the work, especially the boring SEO work.

It all comes down to speed vs. personal time, paid traffic vs. free traffic...

paid vs free yes, but sometimes I truly believe that though a much slower process, free traffic, the type that occurs slowly over time tends to lead to more valuable traffic and wholesome fan base, especially for a website like yours. The arrow poll is pretty cool
