I think started it in the correct category but I received an infraction

I was announcing a directory at this thread


Since my directory has not been yet fully launched I decided that it run on tes mode so I started the thread in directories forum and not in announcement forum

also as I want editors for my directory I posted over there and I hae already said that the directory is not test mode and will be launched on January15th
but the mods thought I posted in wrong category and gave me an infraction

 

You had it in the Directories forum and I moved it for you.

 

Since the announcement forums was only for announcements and Since I have some extra information and annoucement for editors cannot bemade there

I started the thread in directories forum as instead of having separate threads I made it as a single thread

 

So should I move it to the Buy/Sell/Trade> Services section for you?

I want to know where I can start a thread for getting editors and also

I want some of directory owners to review my directory so only I started it there in directories forum

I want to know whether I can again start a thread in directories forum for reveiwing it as most of users only submit their websites and they do not review a directory if posted in announcements forum

Reviews go in the Reviews section.

Request for services go in the Services section.

And announcements go in the Announcements section.

I should first post the URL

and explain to them where the explanation will be same then I could get an infraction because of this

 

I think you should heed ROBS advice matey ... start two different threads (different content ofcourse) one for "hiring editors" and one for "reviews"

Otherwise post in the reviews section and you can ask whoever reviews if he wants to be an editor or offer the post after having a conversation with that person..

 

another problem is that this is not a site where you can simply review the design

I want the sites search Functions to be reviewed and other aspects

including site submissions as I got some valuable inputs after starting th thread

only a directory owner could understand how the site needs to be optimized for a category and not a person who simply reviews the design in reviews section

 

I think you should look around for editors in the service section who can do all this for you matey
