I think something's wrong about my PR

You need only Dofollow backlink with high PR..

Generally speaking, any back links would benefit your SERP for the keywords as anchor text if only they are from decent sources. But, PR would rely more on quality of your back links but not quantity. Also, on site page contents would be another big issue for PR purpose.

Thank you very much, it is still a 0 so i worry, but also i did not know this but google had been banned by my host for almost 2 weeks, it was the anti hacking software auto banned it thinking the bot was a hacker. i just got it straightened out last night, we had begun to slip down the ranks, could this be why it happened?

google can now access our site again though and it did come back today.

 

PageRank is very mysterious. but I have read that pagerank will update only when google update pr. normaly every 3-4 months.

to support it, you must get dofollow backlink on high pr.

don´t care about PR, no one need it. Care about your traffic and income, but forget this .... Pagerank!
PR will not earn you any money, It´s your traffic. While some people waste their time in keeping their pr4 stable others make cash in with pr0 sites...

 

I already said I don't care about it in and of itself just getting concerned that low PR like a 0 is a sign that either I'm doing something wrong or Google decieded they don't like me.
