Can you be more clear. Are you saying your site has been banned by Google for link building?

The ranking will come back soon, unless your site has been totally deindexed.

hey dont fear. Its a google dance i suppose. When link building is done fast google needs time to decide where to place you in serps. As google finds backlink to your site, it will take time to decide where to place you. And as some time passes it will place you at a better serp .

Its just because google is not certain to place you on a particular place. as soon as google decides you will be right up there. No need to worry i have see such scenario a lot of times and no need to worry.

But be sure you do link building in a natural way rather then a big bombing of links.
    Best of luck

I would not recommend you to assume any penalty just because of poor ranking from the first start, especially for a new website. You should be aware that Google won't give a long lasting in ranking for new website which has not proved yet. It takes both time and links to spend on.

Most of too much panic peoples always gone wrong in seo. They will do either building more hasty backlinks or stop building it, both were wrong. :) No one could give you an exact estimated time anyway.

These are the effects of google caffeine, back linking is not as hot as it used to be. More liking building too fast could get your deindexed completely, I would sit back and let things take their course.

Google has a 6 months wait period for new sites. You shouldnt start building your links quickly or you may have very well gotten your website banned. Good luck :/

    It'll settle. Don't worry.
Build links naturally, don't spam 1000s in a short period of time!

Google does not like new websites. Period. Build links slowly in the beginning and then keep it up over time. Alter your anchor text.

I really do think it will all be fine. Don't panic. perhaps slow down on link building though. Don't buy crappy links from link farms or from sites with too many links on the front page. Good luck

Agreed. Link building to a brand new website has always been a bit 'on the edge' and Google has never liked it. Otherwise everyone would create a website every day and shove loads of links and blitz the internet. It's more progressive than that. I've always found that adding a couple of backlinks to a brand new site and then doing nothing for a bit seems to get more stable results down the line.
