I think my paypal account got deleted.

When to look in there and I cannot access it. Why could this be?

 

If you do not remember your password or suspect that it has been stolen, use the 'Forgot your email address or password?' option on Paypal's log in page and get the necessary details.

Paypal does not delete accounts and if yours is limited, you will get notification and the account would still be there, just that you cannot use any of the features.

 

Hmm. it says it cannot be found. And my details that i wrote in are not correct, which they are.

Also I know my email i used and my password.

I have emailed them, as I cannot ring.

Just seems weird.

and when I do the password recover it says - We are unable to find a PayPal account using the information you provided.

 

Hmm , quite strange.. did you try contacting paypal about it?

Id give it a try.

I think its banned though.

 

I have emailed them, as calling form NZ would be far to expensive.

 

It seems that your account got hacked may be not sure.

It would have happen like this.Hacker would have hacked your paypal account then added another email id then made it primary and deleted your email id from your account better call paypal emails takes ages to get answers.

you can call paypal for free using online phone like skype.... or other free calling service.... and i too think you might get hacked.... and your acc. infos are changed..... so call paypal using skype or other service for free.... and please let us know what happen... because this problem i heard first time and so i want to know what happen to your paypal account...

 

use skype, call them, get your identity straightened out, and have your account locked first.

 

Here is the most important piece of advice.

If you have a credit card attached to the account, call your credit card company/bank and ask them to block it for now.

 

might they hacked then changed email, password, security questions. just check your mail. if there is no mail from paypal, bet they hacked your account and deleted mail which paypal's sent before. if something happens like that, just re-install your windows.

 

I thought that once you add a new email address to Paypal, you will get an email from Paypal in regards to it. I understand that you cannot make a new email address as primary until you add it. But whatever it is, it sure is best to check with paypal in regards to this. Check all your mail trash to see if there is any such alert.

Yes, it has been sorted, it some how happened when they did something to my account (made me upload proof of address). I don't know exactly what happened, but it seems that I had and old account which was closed for inactivity, and putting me details though meant it though i was trying to access it.

But its all sorted now, and I have my money and my account sorted.

 

glad to know your issue is resolved..... next time keep your account checked once a week and the email also.....
