I think my new domain has been blacklisted on google?

So I bought a new domain a few months ago called http://www.generatecss.com and created content for it right away.

As you can tell the domain is very desirable, and it came to me that the domain has been registered before in the past but has since been dropped which is why I was able to purchase it.

The thing is that if you search the website on Google, the cached version of the previous owner comes up, however if you do a site:generatecss.com nothing comes up.

Does this mean the domain has been blacklisted? I think this can also explain the domain got dropped. It has already been a long time and nothing has changed.

I did a checkup for site:generatecss.com, it seems fine, it has 13 pages indexed.
You can check if domain is blacklisted on blacklistalert dot org.

Yeah I tried on both my computer and phone. Which country's google are you using? I'm based in Australia so I tried searching it on google.com.au and google.com but still comes up with nothing.

Not showing for me. But don't worry.
It will take some time. You can manually submit to google in webmaster tools.
Also submit sitemap to make google crawl faster.

I'm slightly closer to you, in Auckland

If I view the cache on http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Awww.generatecss.com I get the cache of a site called corbanworks.

Before you bought your domain it would have been forwarded to that site and Google hasn't quite worked out that it's not happening anymore.

I haven't had to deal with this problem before but here's where I'd start:
    • get a google xml sitemap and submit it to Google Webmaster Tools
    • verify your site with Google Webmaster Tools
    • get a few quality links to your homepage but don't overdo it with crap, we're just wanting spiders to see that it's live
    • add google analytics to the site - I don't know how much data sharing goes on, but it can't hurt for Google to be recording your traffic
