I think my forum is being attacked

    Hi .I'm new here..

    I have a phpbb forum and I have a problem

    My logs show since 2 or 3 days ago more than 1000 daily visits to my forum, coming from this website .SORRY I HAD TO DELETE THE LINK

    This is eating my bandwidth...


    I already edited my .htaccess file.. I inserted this code
    RewriteEngine on
    # Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} HERE GOES THE REFERER URL [NC]
    RewriteRule .* - [F]
    And that worked for 1 day... but today I'm with the same problem again.

    I need your help please

    Wow I just went to that site and I looked at my browser and it was doing all sorts of stuff like loading this and that from dozens and dozens of sites, including some phpBB forum.
