I think MSN/Live is finally dead. Even ASK and AOL sends more traffic

I get more hits from a link exhcange with Davesdaily.com than msn/live in any given month. No keyword required either.

So for for me this month:

Google 3872
Yahoo 96
AOL 82
MSN 18...I get more hits from this forum than msn.

 

Well I hope they don't die. They are sending me thousands of visitors everyday for a lawyer website. Ok I admit it, they are sucking for every other site I have.

Seriously though, I think that MSN is pretty much dead.

 

I remember Altavista. I haven't used it for years.

 

i just dont understand Msn or live. i mean it crawls my sites more than yahoo and google but i never see any traffit from it.

 

Well it depends on your niche I suppose.
One of my sites is getting decent traffic from Live Image search.

 

MSN only controls less than 10% of the market. So don't be surprised you don't get any traffic from it

 

For me MSN has much higher conversion rates than google and yahoo

I'm thinking this is the answer here. Who knows...maybe it's 1%. It's about 1% from my results on APC at best. On my road rage site I get about 10% from msn.

If windows live were to have a cool T.V commercial done... some sort of global marketing, i think they would see a lot more traffic. and so will i because i rank really high there.

 

I used to get double the traffic from msn that I did from google....but now I get 0 still....it sucks...I just resubmitted my sites, hope that works...they are not even indexing my pages.

 

MSN is far from dead IMO.
Most of our sites still receives decent amount of referrals from MSN - usually about 20%.
