They can't even beat Google Images when driving traffic to my site. Is it just my site or does everyone have the same effects? lol

Because nobody is using it anymore. It keeps getting worse with each month. If you really think about it, who does use MSN for search? I don't know anyone who does.

But everyone will stay using livemail/hotmail and live/msn messenger ;).
The search was a little detail. When I discovered the search I clicked wrong :p.

When I dug into the traffic data for one of my sites, most of the traffic listed as coming from "unknown search engines" was actually the traffic referred from Live, for some reason, the version of AWSTAT I was using doesn't seem to track it properly.

From your figures above, that would make MSN/LIVE almost as important as Yahoo.

    Agreed.

But a lot of people still depend on Hotmail ( like myself ) for Email ..what about that ?

Everyone uses MSN, maybe not the website, however the software itself is used a lot, so I would say it is really a long way away from being dead. MSN generates easy clicks through its software, that chart may not be that accurate anyway!

    Thats for this month (12days)
I'm proud of what I have done, the niche those stats are from is a real pain in the ass to generate traffic from. I'm 1st page for every major keyword in my niche. I don't think the traffic can get much better to be honest.

It seems that MSN has accepted the defeat in search.

What site is that BTW? Thats a lot of traffic IMO :)

Maybe people who use MSN don't like your site? Or maybe your not ranked or your getting sand boxed on MSN?

No, the site is almost 4 years old.
Er, maybe its almost 3 years old, one or the other.
It took me over a year to get the traffic up that high.

The last real hurdle I have is for the main keyword. Right now I'm at #10 and it sends me the most traffic of all BY FAR. I figure if I can get it to #1 my traffic should almost double. I don't see much else I can do. I don't even know if I can take #1 for the keyword, I'm going against big corporations and it took a long ass time just to hit #10 :(

Maybe if my boss would give me correct funding for the SEO it could be done. I'm only working with scraps

I think most people use other MSN services rather than search. for me, I only use hotmail and msn mesanger never use their search service. i think other might do the same. no wonder their no. is much lower.

Yesterday I saw a thread saying that there is a surge in traffic sent by Live, with many people raising similar opinions. Now I see that there is a decrease.
