If you are unhappy in your marriage - try to please your spouse in everyway possible. treat your spouce like a king/queen, act like you want to hear everything they say. continue this for a least 3 months, that way if he/she leaves you they will wish he/she never did.

My wife and I were 200 miles apart for four years during college. And we made it!

Been there. Did that for 14 months. It ain't easy!

 

Luckily it was only 200 miles. And that allowed us to see each other 1-2 times a month. Otherwise one of us would have had to transfer.

I racked up a lot of miles on my car over those four years!

 

Mine was a shorter total duration of separation, but an 8 hour plane flight. I made that trip 6 times in 14 months.
