I'm sorry if a lot of posts like this appear. I just want to diagnose my problem.

All of my keywords for this campaign are showing a poor quality score .

    For example, my keywords:
    'photo editing software'

    The ad copy:

    Photo Editing Software
    Powerful Photo Editing Software
Download it now, FREE for 7 days!
    www.photo-editor-[xxx].com

Plus the landing page title includes 'photo editing software', so does the H1 tage and the phrase is mentioned in the copy.

What has happened? was it a slap? why would they slap me?

FYI The langing page is selling some... ...you guessed it... photo editing software.

    Help!!!

make sure your landing page is clean and simple. Easy to navigate and ensure that the following additional pages are on the landing page as well

Home, about, contact, terms, privacy policy and sitemap

If you have all these factors then your QS will be at least a 6 possible 7 or 8

Also, remember that the landing page is not only the factor in QS but your CTR is vitally important.

Split test with some ads to see which can give you the best CTR.

    Brilliant. Thank you!

Yep, I am split testing. Just started the campaign so no CTR yet and only around 80 impressions, but I had a near identical campaign before for this site with a very respectable CTR.

    Thanks for the help guys.

OK my QS was at 2.
I've just added the following pages:

    'About us'
    'Privacy Policy'
    'Contact Us'

Let's see if it gives the QS a boost.
If it does, that's conclusive proof that these pages boost QS...

make sure you make the google spider come back to reevaluate your landing page.

If you have text ads change the url by adding a reset parameter.

Example, if you have params already

    yoururl.com?param1=xyx

    change to

    yoururl.com?param1=xyz&reset=1

If you have params then just add reset to the end of the url string

    example

    if your url is

    yourlandingpage.com

    then change to

    yourlandingpage.com?reset=1

Also do this to the keyword level destination urls as well if you have them. This will make the google spider come back and reevaluate your landing page

I added ?page=1 to my target URLs over 24 hours ago to get Google to re-spider my site.

There has been no change in QS. It is still at 2 (poor).

My ads are still not displaying.
This can't be due to low CTR as the ads only got to a total of 200 impressions between them before stopping with low QS.
    Any more ideas?!

I think it should be ?reset=1 not ?page=1

As far as I understand, the actual variables you use are irrelevant. It's simply a 'different' URL as far as Google is converned, so it goes and re-spiders to find the 'new' page.
