Okay, so I thought of a niche about a week ago, but I thought it might be over saturated. Then just now, just for the heck of it, I checked the stats (with adsense keyword tool) and I found out it is not.

How can I properly develop it?

Kind of a strange question, you would build it just like any other site you would build.

Saturation is only a measure of competition, not a need for procedural change.

Meaning you will probably have easier time getting rankings and the like.

Just build a website...some use wordpress(i dont), phpnuke, joomlah, or just a coded website. Add content and articles and build backlinks. Soon enough you'll get ranked by google.

Whatever the niche is should determine what direction you develop the site in and since your not telling us, we really can't be that useful.

Picture yourself as the user of your niche. What would they need/ want to see in terms of a site. That is how you should create it, based on the end user's needs.

I would share - and I'm not afraid to share it with fellow forum members - the only thing that concerns me is that any lurker might want to copy my idea :(

If you are getting traffic, etc and its a good niche, then just develop a website for it. Don't limit yourself and leave open ends so you can add on to the site later if you want to. Start small is always good.

I would follow the advice of the above posts and ensure that you install google analytics or some other traffic analysis tool in order to monitor the traffic that your site is pulling in. As you make changes to the content or whatever it is that you're offering to your target niche, monitor the fluctuations to your traffic. When you make a change that seems to result in more traffic than you had obtained before, keep it. Continually experiment with the site content in order to "see what works" in terms of increasing your daily traffic. If you consistently apply this principle, you should eventually get the kind of traffic that you're looking for.

One caveat, the above strategy assumes that you're also pursuing SEO opportunities by building quality backlinks to your site.
