I have a great domain name... but its been 2 months now and no index from Google...

Usually sites I buy get indexed within 2 weeks... without even submitting requests

I submitted a request a few weeks ago...

    Still not on the SERP's

Has anyone experienced anything like this???

Well, my blog was originally indexed by Google, then one time something happened that required me to alter some settings in my blog including its theme. Then when I checked my PR, it went down from PR3 to UNRANKED. After two months of waiting for my PR to go up again it is now back to PR3.

I also checked with site:yourdomainame.com but I can't see the main page of my blog

Good thing, everything is back to normal.

If you're using Wordpress check Blog Visibility in Settings -> Privacy. Make sure that search engines aren't being blocked.

Yeah, it is kinda strange. Try submitting to places like Digg, Mixx, Sodahead, and try listing the URL in a couple Yahoo/Wiki Answers.

You might try checking your domain on The Wayback Machine to see what content the previous owner/s hosted.

    Oooh... that's a bad sign.

In my experience Yahoo! penalties lift themselves a lot easier than G penalties, so if your site has content now - legit, clean content - wait a few weeks and see if it shows up in Yahoo. If not... you may be up the creek. If Yahoo! turns out to be OK, all you have to do is beg G for reconsideration via Google Webmaster Tools.

Go into your google webmaster tools - in the left hand column there is a link "submit for reconsideration". Follow that link, describe what is going on, explain in as much detail as possible what happened and that you just bought the domain name.

It might take a few weeks, but that is the only way to get a ban lifted in google.

If you do not add contents to your website or links, even after months it might not appear nowhere online.
