I think I almost died

Well, I opened up a proxy (my first one actually) yesterday http://wontcatchme.com ; and I spent money advertising it n such just to get it started. Well, when I came back home this evening I was pretty excited to see my site had already earne something like 4-5 bucks with 60% CTR?!?!?! I kinda got nervous but it wasn't anything serious until about 12:30 tonight when Adsense flipped over to a new day (no school + working overtime on a new project is why Im up so late) and saw I had 100% CTR and I began to flip out. Never seen it before, and I sure as heck dont want to get banned from adsense.

So I just installed adlogger and made it so there's only 4 clicks allowed per person over 6 hrs. Is that enough? Or should I make it more strict. Im still sort of nervous about 100% CTR because that can get all of my other sites banned by google, but it only happened for about 10hrs, with about 16 clicks strong.

Well having adsense on proxy sites is against their to's so if your gonna be banned for anything it will be that so i wouldnt worry about the 100% CTR

    you sure your website works?

its keeps on giving me error:

URL Error (97): An error has occured while trying to browse through the proxy.
Failed to connect to the specified host. Possible problems are that the server was not found, the connection timed out, or the connection refused by the host. Try connecting again and check if the address is correct.

you better check or you would loose a lot of traffic and google will feel its MFA

That is correct and headless, try doing some fact checking. Front page only, if you do some digging here a DP there a members who have correspondence from Google confirming this.

I am getting the same error when trying to
    use your proxy:

Try checking the installation of the proxy script.
And if you follow the rules and display no
adsense ads on other pages than on the
index - you should be fine.

If you do see your CTR increasing rather worryingly, then simply contact G. I have had some problems with this, and they were pretty understanding. If they realise you are monitoring your clicks, then I would imagine they will realise you are a genuine publisher ;)

I always think its risky anyway to have AdSense on a proxy site seeing as most of them are started by high school kids who get half the school to use them to bypass school systems. What that usually leads to is tons of same ip clicks and astounding CTR's when your mates think they are helping you.

Take a look at your logs or use some AdSense trackign software to track down where the issue is

Well, I have 1 proxy, and now the CTR is 11% but I still feel thats a bit high. Also, about the script having problems, im not sure what it is, I think it's the host itself thats causing the erorrs, so ill probably move that today. I think ill try some harder restrictions on adlogger and contact adsense. Also; if some of you have proxy's whats the usual CTR on the front page w/ about 150 visitors? I don't have much idea on proxy's since my other sites get about 1-2%

Edit: W/ Adlogger I found one ip clicking 4 times, hopefully it works more and more like this :)

Hmm, and someone asked where I advertised; I did the myspace thing and got on proxy.org. Also, although im a teenager I in no way have even told my friends about helping me with my proxy. I don't even think hardly any of my friends know I even code so... But yeah.

The click through is so high because the site does not work. Good for short term gains but the sites you advertise on will drop you at some point.

what script is that? I can't ever seem to figure out how to get rid of all the check boxes.

Its hard to make a judgement on such a low visitor count but on my proxies I receive about 2-5% CTR. 100%? You're asking for trouble.

I own 4 other content filled sites, one being tutorial-index. Im getting into proxies for more opportunities and I have enough money from other sites to do a dedicated (I have a VPS and 2 other hosting accounts right now heh). But anyway..

I banned 3ip's just now and Urchin is telling me 114 u/v so far since 12 Central. I think ill just move the site over to the VPS today since im sure thats the problem with the script erroring. Sorry, kinda new to the proxy thing heh. I have a feeling the bots are coming from myspace advertising (1st time, didn't know it was so bad ;/) and also, how do I contact Google?

You do not need any proxy or additional tool if you got decent flow of traffic..

I know that from experience man.. That's somewhat offbase. Ive had an adsense account for almost 2 years, Im no beginner to that. The proxy is standalone, has nothing to do with my other sites and it certainly isn't to gain more traffic. My other sites gain pretty good traffic, actually wayy more than this proxy is doing right now.
