I think Google put more weights on "real" original content much more than ever.

Hi, I've visited many websites across Google and found something rely on this Google Algo. updated. I think Google put more weights to site that has real original content, content that not put or submitted to another article directory, much more than ever. Some of my sites only 1 month old since Google indexed, ranked on 195 with some competitive keywords in my niche. That page don't have many backlink yet, just from my homepage with PR0 but ranked without using any operator (allintitle, allinanchor, allintext) but content on that page is original, never submitted to any article directory. I don't know if I understand this correctly but this is my own experienced only.

google does give importance to original content, no doubt but do you mean to say that you just have one link and are ranking - are you getting any visitors from google yet?

 

Not yet, because it ranked at #195 but for one month old site, it's not bad I think.

 

how competitive is the keyword?

 

write extracts and post those to some article websites and keep the "real" article on your own site.
You should not sponsor article sites with original content and leave yourself with a copy...

 

Well, what you say is true and is vastly believed. Google is nearly the first destination to search for original high quality content.
