My rankings have been dropped from 6th to 44th rank......please tell me that google penalisation exist or not, and if exist then how many types of penalisation exist in google and what are the recommendations to get back my ranking.... Pls reply
We cannot say that for sure unless we see your site. you may have penalization for a variety of reasons including 1. Link buying/ selling 2. Spam 3. Rigorous link building 4. overly link exchange. 5. 100% scrapped contents 6. MAA sites
If anybody is up for checking out Future Conscience as well (link in sig), it would be appreciated. We've dropped out completely, but are still indexed, and cannot figure out why. The only thing I can come up with is that the site is only 5 weeks old and we have been put into the 'sandbox' because we aren't old enough...which seems really dumb given the new real-time nature of the web and the fact that we create daily, original content...in the meantime articles from 2003 are being ranked by Google as useful when they are now ridiculously out of date. Really trying to figure this out, hope it will just be a few weeks/months until it rights itself...but really not sure if it is because we have done something actually wrong - hence why it would be good to have someone who knows what they are doing check!
At first look I don't see any reason for penalization. You may be right about the sandbox. Even if the articles are old Google algorithm uses votes from other website as a count for your site value. As the Google crawlers are robots and not humans it is impossible to determine which content is outdated or which would be more timely.
Thanks to All for the reply..... My site is 10 years old and I am targeting for hotel keywords...please help me
There could be several reasons. Duplicate contents Link Spamming etc.... Make sure that your website is not voilating google policies and then Submit Reconsideration Requisite.
if some one is doing more hard work on your keywords. probably he is getting good rank for those keywords and your number is 44....Because the quality of your work is not better then your competittors...and google never peanlises....if you are working according to its tos,
Do you submit to directories that require reciprocal links? Do you have a 'link' page? Many link pages hide the links making them the same color as the background. Google punishes those pages with a quickness! John
A link is a link is link. Sure some are more than others but if you get a link out of somewhere great. Duplicate content doesn't exist.
