i think coop links have been removed by MSN

on several sites that i run, mostly with coop links only, they have all dropped from MSN to no positions at all.

on sites that are not using coop links, nothing has changed at all.

its only my suggestion of course, but does anyone have the same sort of stats?

I haven't seen the same thing. My sites in the Coop have continued to flourish in MSN for all of their keywords.

Have you neglected your other SEO on those sites, basically using the Coop as a replacement?

yes - but i suppose as a test. they are not important sites and while the on-page seo is ok, the only linkage to them is from the coop itself.

i am not complaining about the coop - no way, but i thought i would share my view as these sites only use coop links.

I see the same but think the conclusion is premature. I also have a site ditches that has plenty of natural links and should get good ranking when the co-op is left out of play.

An issue many coop members have. Since the coop is an "advertising network", I would not rely on it being the only seo strategy.

More than likely it is only a matter of time till they attempt a filter on rotating text links.........
