Hello friend, I am quite new to the web and this web mastering business. I have just opened a blog and it was indexed in the first position for the blog name. I just checked google and searched for my site's name. Just yesterday it was appearing in the first position but today I see that it has gone down to the 4th position. What is it Google dance? I dunno what Google dance is (but I think it is the index update right??) Where can I check if Google dance is happening or not?
This happens from day to day. I really would not be concerned unless you slip off the first page. That might mean you need fresh content to update it.
Do you know if you are hitting different google data centers? Plus google is just plain weird sometimes
google always update a site and to ensure your site is at top position, you must keep do link building to your site and also keep your site updated
well, my ranks dropped too but I am not pretty sure if it was because of google dance but they cached a page that is redirected to a subpage of the website but the URL is the main page. it is just weird. i hope it will get back to top again.
