Iv not smoked for 3 years now, best thing i ever did, i'l never start again. I did the same as you, joined a gym at the same time as quitting and it gave me something to do. I much prefer the pubs as non smoking areas now as well, you can go out in a set of clothes and they wont stink of smoke when you get up in the morning.
It's good that you want to make a good change. But remember : This is gonna be a hard work while I don't think your motivation is strong enough. You do this because you wanna show something to your ex? Gimme a break... Please do it for yourself. Not for someone who forgot you already.
its good that u stop smoking coz smoking can cause many disease. and plenty of water help us in having a good skin, lungs will also work well. exercise especially yoga is very good for body it will keep ur body fit and smart and a cool mind

Im trying to give up smoking but without something like exercise or ... to take my mind off it, its a losing battle. Id love to do exercise but my heart is knackered and im only 21

Congrats! I quit 12 years ago, and took up hiking to clear out my lungs, took awhile and I stopped hacking up a lung after about 6 months.
its a positive note for you to stop smoking. since smoking is very harmful to your health and to the people around you due to second hand smoke. working out can relieve your stress and always make you healther and stronger and more attractive. good luck.
I stopped smokin 3 months ago using champix, my girlfriend also quit about 3 weeks ago. she went to manchester were she had some electro pulses sent through here arms to stop smokin an so far its worked.....
Best thing when you quitting is saying in yourself : I will not smoke just today. Next day …. same….. and till you really quit.
its better that you start quiting smoking now cause sooner or later you have to quit and the sooner you quit the more money you will save
