I still don't earn even a cent from CJ

I have been placed CJ ad on one of my site for 4 days. I got 20 clicks /day at average based on about 3000 VISTORS/ DAY(hight quality USA and EU traffic) ,however I still haven't earned event a cent from CJ .

What's going wrong ?

 

If they are clicking through that means that they are interested in the product, so nothing is wrong.

You just have to be more patient....give it at least a couple of weeks. It took over 1 month for me to start getting sales with CJ.

 

Affiliate marketing is not for the faint hearted! Trust me you need to be extremely specialised in the affiliate marketing field to make this work for you. Usually being an affiliate publisher brings the advertiser millions of hits and the publisher 0.03 cents.... Don't waste your time on it...

 

OK,I will be waiting for more 2 week ,if I still earn nothing,I will switch back to CPC.

 

Four days is too early for anything in aff marketing.

What kind of product are you promoting? Is the price a turn off? Is the traffic targetted? Do the people who click come to the site using action keywords like buy?

Also, the thumb rule is one convert for every 100 visitors sent. At the beginning that rate dips even lower- affiliate marketing rarely gives folks instant money at the beginning.

 

20 clicks isn't much at all.

You've really got to make sure your offer is targeted for the traffic, so it's definitely something they're interested in.
That'll ensure it converts a lot better.

Also what sort of offer is it?
If it's an offer where they have to join a mobile subscription, or enter their credit card details, then it'll convert less, but your earnings per click average will be much higher.

You got to take these things into mind when looking at how much money you're making from affiliate marketing.

My best suggestion is to ask your affiliate manager, they love to know how well your campaigns are going and to make suggestions to help you make money.

I tried it for long time. All I was able to earn was adult related products. At some point that program got expired (advertiser left CJ) and I earned just nothing. Later on I got email from CJ saying that will deduct some amount every month (you can see it here http://www.vicconsult.com/surveys/Chitika-CJ-Commission-Junction.html).
I really don't like CJ and after that letter I consider them more as scam.

 

4 days is too early need to wait even more than 4 months to get some thing out of it also SEO

 

I am getting around 70 to 90 clicks daily but no sales anyhow I use to get around 20 to 30 clicks a month ago but then there were sales that time. Not sure what is the trick here

 

still no sales yet,I will go on updating the status till I get rid of it.

dude..maybe you can try with youtube...get many traffic there..

 

20 clicks are really not that much, but I feel your pain and frustration. I have had more success with Amazon than CJ but that might just be personal preference.

 

OK,finally I removed most of the CJ and placed Adsense AD back.....

Maybe CJ is not suitable for my site

 

CPC is a lot better unless you can interact with a lot of regulars on your website in a personal way in order to influence their decision to purchase products you are advertising through Commission Junction.
