I still can't get indexed by Google Images

I'm still pulling my hair out over how to get indexed by Google Images. If someone could look at this one post and tell me why it wouldn't index, I'd be so appreciative (and give green rep of course):

    Billboard Advertisements

This particular post has received over 200,000 UVs, ranks between 1 and 4 in google for over 40 search words and/or phrases, and has over a thousand links back to it. But for some reason Google Images doesn't come near it or the rest of my blog.

Am I doing something wrong with the ALT/TITLE tags, or something else? I even indicated on the Google Webmaster tools that I'd like Google Images to crawl my site.

    Thanks a bunch,
    Anita

check your robots.txt to see if you have no index images

    src="http://www.saynotocrack.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/3d_bic_ad.jpg" alt="3d bic ad" title="3d bic ad"

what is the title tag for? Why not just use an alt tag? One thing for sure that would help is if the file named was shorter. also remember to use "-" rather than "_" to repersent spaces. I would still think google should index- as these are minor. how long has it been?

I was told when I started that Google looked separately at the TITLE and the ALT tag, so I used both. Recently I switched to just using ALT tags, and dashes instead of underscores.

That particular page has been up for about 2 months. It doesn't appear that Google Images has picked up a single image from any of my posts in the past 4 months though (if I do a "site:saynotocrack.com", nothing appears, while it does for other sites).

Also, should I really be naming files with a name shorter than 3d_bic_ad.jpg?

    Thanks!

    1. Use dash instead of underscore
    2. Use descriptive names as filename, alt and title

what's the keyword you tried to rank?

i had the same problem before. I add some pharse like "below is the picture of mykeyword", this is the image of mykeyword" and build link with anchor "mykeyword picture", "my picture image". After that i rank #1 for that keyword in image search (and it is a adult term so it bring nice traffic)

Hey ahkip. It's not a single keyword, it's ANY keyword. It hasn't picked up a single image from my site. If I type "site: saynotocrack.com" in the Google Image search, 0 images popup.

One person suggested that Google Images doesn't crawl a site for a long time, and my site has only been live for ~4 1/2 months, so maybe that's it?

oh, it doesn't mean your image is not indexed. When i use that comment, no image pop up too (but i got traffic from image search)

try site:www.yahoo.com, there are like 10 images

and try site:www.google.com, i am suprise

if you want to know how much traffic you are getting from google image, check your log
