Did anyone noticed that lately google results are more and more garbage ? I dont know what they changed in the past month but i stoped using google as my default search engine since 1 week ago, being tired of the crap results that show up.

Especially on the long search phrases, with 3+ words in them, google shows some irrelevant (to whole phrase) results just because they have those 3+ scattered on the whole page.

Google is still reliable. And I prefer a minimalist style. Bing looks cool though.

I have used Bing too as well but for compare results purpose only. I do always compare between Bing and Google in most cases to see potential ranking. Bing has been improved a lot and look like more Google than Bing itself.

Well, I didn't find any such *garbage*. When I search for long tail keywords, I always get pretty accurate results.

Ya but Google still brings me over 80% of my traffic so I would not call it garbage.

I have been finding more and more 'useless' results with Google and Bing often turns up better ones.

Worst is when you try and find your own site with a long tail keyword string and there it is languishing on page 2 and all the results above it have half the words you were after, scattered around the site. I liked it better when Google biased towards matching full strings not just scattered words.
