I started a forum, can I submit that separately from my site?

So do you think it would be ok if I submitted it to the same directories that my website is listed in?

Some directories specifically exclude subdomains. Sometimes they want a reciprocal to accept a subdom, or even charge for that.

Other than that you should be fine!

In my SEO directory I do just that.

I accept subdomains and inner pages too, as long as the link brings visitors where they want.

For now I only charge for Featured Listings (1$) but not for non topdomains, so you would be safe.

In your case actually, a forum should be considered a different link, simply because it's obviously....a forum!

    Good luck!
