    You spent $500 on AdWords just for Adsense clicks???? WHAT??? You could've spent $500 on adwords and (playing your cards right) made well over $1000.00 profit with affiliate sales.

    You can plan some thing better.
    A web site shall make money based on content and quality but not just by giving publivity.

    I really don't agree with people who use adwords for adsense. Earning in adsense is quite easy, all it needs optimize optimize optimize optimize & optimize your website seo friendly.

    Adsense + Adwords + MFA = Arbitrage.

    A+A+MFA= A+

    Very Risky and it's a large investment to risk, if you were banned from Adsense you would loose the lot.

    And the "You could have done better" "if you use an affiliate" posts etc. if it was that easy .... everyone would be doing it, why aren't you guys doing it then ?

    Isn't this the arbitrage that Adsense BANS ? IE you are not allowed to drive traffic to adsense from adwords ?
