    Hi, I'm trying to figure out something...I sold a $1,859.89 Coat
    how much commission should I be paid? Assume this is the only item I sold all month.

    Thanks and sorry for the stupid question.

    Good sale :)
    ~~~~~~~
    Does someone know if they still pay 15% on books?
    ...I'll check myself later, and post back here if needed.
    Thanks
    Oops.
    I'm pretty sure they used to pay more, but I never bothered to deal with books.
    Too bad, but thanks for the easy answer. :)
    4% is not that much to be honest in the affiliate marketing industry. It is better to aim for 8 - 10% minimum if you can.
    8 - 10% bare minimum.
    It takes bigger numbers to interest me. :)
    I'll check out your directory someday soon.
    If you had 10% commission, then it would have probably cost exactly the same or a little more on advertising and putting in just the same or a little more effort and you would have received $95.30 commission, which is a much larger profit. I must admit, promoting some merchants that pay small commissions is worthless and would cost you more than what you will receive.
    I know some merchants that pay 1%, which is nothing.
