I simple question maybe someone can help

Ok well im a graphic artist, and me and a friend decided to start a anime streaming site. Its simple i cover all gfx,templates etc. and he does coding. Well he's a moderate coder but he's new to php. So we've gotten pretty far into our site and are getting closer to out launching stage. But we ran into a problem, seeing as neither of us know php, we realized we'd need a script for what were trying to do. or to know what were trying to do so we can do it.
SO i was hoping someone would be able to help us out or atleast point us in the right direction.

Me being a huge anime fan i looked at other anime streaming sites, and looked at their anime pages and still haven't been able to figure this out so im going to give some examples of what were trying to do. I hope they help, cause im not exactly sure what to ask.

So you basically need a CMS with some custom made plugins? I'm pretty sure most of those sites use WordPress, so you might want to check it out.
